Let the two numbers be x and y.
Given, x + y = 3000
it is also given that- 8x/100=12y/100y
thus,
x=12y/8
Now,
We got x = 3y/2
But x + y = 3000
3y/2 + y = 3000
5y/2 = 3000
y = 3000 × 2 / 5 = 1200
So, x = 3(1200)/2 = 1800
Therefore, the two numbers are 1800 and 1200.
