2. Then take reciprocal of the number on the left and then multiply them

Example:

$\frac{3}{5} \: by \: 6 \\ \\ \frac{3}{5} \: \div 6 \\ \\ \frac{3}{5} \: \times \frac{1}{6} \\ \\ = \frac{3}{30} = \frac{1}{10}$
