angle c = 180-70+40=70
angle c =70 degree
angle d=angle e
so 180-70=110degree
angle d= 110/2 =55degree
angle d = angle e=55 degree

40+70+C=180 (Angle Sum Property)

C=180-(110)

C=70

Now,angleACB=angleDCE (Vertically Opposite Angles)

Therefore,angleDCE=70

In triangleDCE,

D+C+E=180 (Angle Sum Property)

D+D=180-70 (Given, D=E)

2D=110

D=55

Therefore, D=E=55.
