To prove:straight line MN passes through Centre O.
Construction: through the Centre O draw EF parallel AB parallel CD
Join OM and ON
Proof :OM PERPENDICULAR AB
M Is mid point of AB and line joining Centre to midpoint of chord.
AngleOMA=90
AmgleMOF=90(OF parallel AB)
ON perpendicular CD
ON is the line joining the center of the circle to the midpoint of chord.
AngleONC=90
AngleNOF=90
Angle NOF +angleMOF=90+90=180
MON is straight line
MN passes through Centre O.
