NaOH(aq) + CO2(g) = Na2CO3(aq) + H2O(l)
NaOH is base.
Co2 is acidic oxide .
when the base and acid react they form crrosponding salt , and water .
same here in the case of NaOH and CO2
they form salt of Na2co3 which is sodium carbonate ( salt ) and water .
