No.of girls= 9x
No.of boys=4x
Total no.of students=13x
No. of boys studying to become an engineer=1/4×4x=x
No.of girls studying to become an engineer= 2/5×9x=18x/5.
No.of students studying to become an engineer=x+18x/5=23x/5.
No. of remaining students=13x-23x/5=42x/5
