Solution:

  • ΔABC= 1/2×CE×AB
  • =1/2×5×10
  • =25cm²
  • Since ΔABC and parallelogram abcdare on same base AB and between the same parralels AB and DC
  • Hence, ABCD=2×Δ(ABCD)
  • =2×25
  • =50cm²

Answer:

in the given figure,CE is the height of the parrallelogram ABCD.As parallelograms have their height outside the parallelograms.

Area of parallelogram=base × height

Base of given parallelogram= 10cm

Height=5cm

Area= 50cmsq.
