How to solve x+1/3=x_1/4 = 1 then x=?

Answer:

x+1/3=x-1/4=1

= x+1/3=x-1/4 - 1

=x+1/3=x-1-4/4

=x+1/3=x-5/4

=4(x+1)=3(x-5)

=4x+4 =3x-15

=4x-3x=-15-4

=x=-19
