"Middle term splitting"

here, minimum 3 terms are required to perform middle term splitting method.

let the terms be :-

x² + 12x + 36

Now, let us see the first term, that is, x² .
Co-efficient of x² is 1.

and, in 3rd term, that is 36.
it has no variable!

then, we will multiply them,
1 × 36 = 36

so, we have to divide 12 in two numbers,
so that, if we will add the two numbers, we will get 12 and if, we will multiply same number we will get 36.

therefore,

x² + (6+6)x + (6×6)

= x² + 6x + 6x + 36

= x ( x + 6 ) + 6 ( x + 6 )

= ( x + 6 )( x +6 ) ......ANSWER.

HOPE IT WAS HELPFUL ✌️!

Middle term splitting is the process of Factorization of the mathematical Algebraic Equation.

In this method, the Polynomial should be in the form of
a {x}^{2} + bx + c
Where c is the constant value.

Now, Multiply the Coefficient of
 {x}^{2}
with the constant value i.e., c
Then, Try to split the second term i.e.,
 b{x}^{2}
in a way that On Addition the no. comes the same i.e., b and on multiplying the no. comes the same as a×c.

Now, Factorise the equation formed.
