informal and formal

informal letters are the letters which we write to our friends and relatives.

formal letter is a letter which we write to police officer or principal..

In informal letter you can start with dear and you can mention your friends name and after that you have to say hello, how are you? I am fine here. then you have to write the main thing which you want from that person...

In formal letter you have to use respected sir or ma'am or anything which is given to you. . and you have to write that .. this letter is for informing you about..... and the situation which is given un the question...
