First of all you should maintain neat dressing style. they should trust you. You should make some jokes while you enter into the class, you should not be very serious with the students,

you should mix with them and you should be funny with them.

try relate to them but don't act like somebody you're not. don't be the super cool teacher but don't be the strict boring teacher. have a conversation and compliment them! say "hey nice shoes!" or "cool jacket/tshirt!" :)
