[Its a long one. But don't get bored as you need to crack the examination. JEE wouldn't be that tough to crack.]
HERE'S YOUR ANSWER
If u r in class 10th, concentrate on your academic books and give a thorough revision to some of the most important chapters like trigonometry etc.
In class 11th, you need to start your preparation from the very 1st day.
Important chapters in 11th are: thermodynamics, projectile related topics, differentials, mensuration, algebra, calculus(most important).
Class 12th is easy in comparison to the class 11th.
Important topics in 12th are: integrals, differential calculus, applications of differentiation, probability(v.impt) and some more.
Important Reference books that I consulted are:
Concepts of Physics(Part 1&2)-by H.C Verma.
R.D Sharma for class 11th & 12th.
R.S Aggarwal for class 11th & 12th.
Optics- McGraw Hill Publications.
Electricity and Magnetism- Tata McGraw Hill Publications/Pearson Publications.
Arfken Series.
Books by George F Simons.
NOTE: I recommend to use the last 4 books after completion of your 10th class. You need to have a firm hold on your academics as basics come from there only.
