It's a easy subject . Try figuring out the stories by watching documentaries for history. For civics follow the book prescribed .
For political science again documentary will help you a lot. Economics is best of all as there are some calculations out there. If you are following a book then read a page formulate questions out of it and then write down them in your notebook
