How to subtract big decimals nuber from smaller decimals?

lets take a example

we have two decimals as 31.4 and 27.32

now lets subtract

borrow as usual and put the numbers like that the decimals are at same place put a zero next to 4.now subtract them simply

31.40

-27.32

04.08

so thats the answer

u can also write as 4.08 as 0 in the left of 4 have no value

u may subtract like shown above
