tan \alpha  =  \frac{1}{3}  \\  \alpha  = tan {}^{ - 1} ( \frac{1}{3} ) \\  \alpha  = 18.43

If you know that general formula

tanx = tan@

x = nπ + @

there is tan@ = 1/3

just similarly @ is at place of x and at the place of x is 1/3

so ,

tan@ = tan arcten -1/3

from general formula

@ = nπ + tan arcten-1/3 it's general solution for @
