Answer:

THE TRICK TO FIND THE LCM OF TWO NUMBERS IS TO FIND THE GREATER NUMBER AND FIND THE GREATER MULTIPLE

EXAMPLE

HERE 8 IS THE GREATEST NUMBER(AS STATED IN THE QUESTION)

THEN WE HAVE TO FIND THE MULTIPLE WHICH IS BOTH DIVISIBLE BY 6 AS WELL AS 8

(WE HAVE TO FIND THE MULTIPLE OF 8)

SO

8×1=8,WHICH IS NOT DIVISIBLE BY 6

8×2=16,WHICH IS ALSO NOT DIVISIBLE BY 6

8×3=24,WHICH IS DIVISIBLE BY 6

SO

THE LCM OF 8 AND 3 IS 24

U CAN ALSO DO IN PRIME FACTORISATION METHOD

2|6, 8

=LCM=2×3×4

=24

THANK U
