It’s very easy
There are 19 elements for a primary level these are:
Hydrogen 1+-
Helium 0
Lithium 1+
Beryllium 2+
Boron 3+
Carbon 4
Nitrogen 3-
Oxygen 2-
Fluorine 1-
Neon 0
Sodium 1+
Magnesium 2+
Aluminum 3+
Silicon 4
Phosphorus 3,5-
Sulphur 2-
Chlorine 1-
Argon 0
Now there are valence electrons
For that you should know KLMN series in the last orbit the no of electron are either 8 or lower than 8 like there is are 8 electrons totally in oxygen and the the final orbit is 2 so K is 2 and L is 6 now oxygen has to gain 2 electrons to satisfy its final orbit so its valency become 2-
In same way the oxygen donator has a valency of + and receiver has valency of minus. And if u want to know more than refer to class 9 NCERT textbook ch 3 or 4 it’s I think 3rd chapter if u know that chapter you know half the chemistry and it’s very important chapter for 10th standard
