how to test refraction of light critical angle

in order to test .u should take a semicircular glass slab.now u have to mark the angles around it and should record the observations one by one.u should pass a ray of light through it from a slit( or from a source) .now keep on passing the light through it at its center base point from which the angles are measured.now keep on recording the observations until reflection occurs. the critical angle is the angle of incidence in an optically denser medium for which the angle of refraction=90°.if the angle of incidence is increased further beyond the critical angle then reflection WL take place.
