How do I write the equation y=3x+4 in a parametric form?

Let  x=t  where  t  is a real-valued constant. Then  y=3t+4.

So the parameterization of the straight line described by  y=3x+4  is

(x, y)=(t, 3t+4)

where  t  is a real number.
