How to turn an active voice as the subject and the subject as the object?

Answer -

  • When we are turning an active voice into passive we turn the subject as object and object as subject.
  • We should use the appropriate form of the verb 'be' and the past participle form of the verb \bf (V_{3}) according to the tense and the subject in the active voice.
  • Also use the preposition 'by' or any other suitable preposition before the abject in the passive voice sentence.

Example -

Here is the table showing passive voice -

\begin{array}{| c | c | c |}\cline{1-3} \sf Tense &\sf Verb\:in\:passive &\sf Sentence\:in\:passive \\\cline{1-3} \bf Simple\:Present & \bf ia/am/are+Past\:Participle(V_{3}) & \bf I\:am\:helped \\\cline{1-3} \bf Simple\:Past & \bf was/were+Past\:Participle(V_{3}) &\bf I\:was\:helped \\\cline{1-3}\end{array}

\begin{array}{| c | c | c |}\cline{1-3} \sf Tense &\sf Verb\:in\:passive &\sf Sentence\:in\:passive \\\cline{1-3} \bf Simple\:Future & \bf shall\:be/will\:be+Past\:Participle(V_{3}) & \bf I\:shall\:be\:helped \\\cline{1-3} \bf Present\:Continuous & \bf is/am/are+being+Past\:Participle(V_{3}) &\bf I\:am\:being\:helped \\\cline{1-3}\end{array}
