May be wifi driver was not installed..so install wifi driver.
just gi to the google..search wifi driver according to your laptop. like if u have acer laptop so search for acer wifi driver
bcoz differnt laptops have different driver
they are not same
so install that driver according to ur laptop.
after installing that driver u use ur wifi.
