f you are running single boot kali linux, first get a windows install media (USB or CD drive). boot into the install media. go through the process and choose “custom install”. since we don’t have windows already installed, we can’t update it. It will take you to the partition manager. click on the partitions that are on your hard drive. Delete all the partitions on the Hard drive and format the hard drive itself. Wait a bit then create a new partition using all the free space available. then carry on installing windows 10. This should remove kali linux and the GRUB bootloader and install windows 10
