how to unlock a PC once if it is locked

To unlock the PC once it gets locked.

The PC can get locked for the following reasons:

• The screensaver is a corrupted one and the password is protected.

OR

• The screen saver is a non - existent one.

When the PC is locked, it can show any of these:

• 'Only ADMINISTRATOR can unlock this computer'.
• 'To unlock, press Ctrl + Alt + Del'.
• 'Only domain\administrator can unlock this computer'.

To unlock:

If it has been unlocked by domain\administrator or username,

• Press Ctrl + Alt + Del.
• Type the required information you typed the last time you had access to the computer.
• Press Ctrl + Alt + Del again. It should work fine then.

If it has been unlocked and does not show who/how it got locked,

• There will be a shutdown option available on the right side, in the corner. Click it.
• A 'Welcome to Windows' dialogue box will be shown.
• Press Ctrl + Alt + Del. Then it should work fine.
