How to update software in android mobile?

You can update software in two conditions
1) if its directly available for your phone
Just go to settings , mobile updates,
Then click on update or install now.
2) if its not available then you have to download it from internet.
Go to your browser seach for the update you want in your phone like if you want android nougat then download the file and again go to setting and update then click on local updates and search for the file you downloaded and install it ...
