solution:

first be clear what you have to find?

1. Logarithm

or 2. Antilogarithm

1. How to find logarithm of any number?

⊕ learn some simple values.

1. log 1 = 0

2. log 10 = 1

⊕ some formulas:

1. log a × b = log a + log b

2. log \frac{a}{b} = log a - log b

3. log a^{b} = b log a

4. ln^{x} = 2.303 log x

5. log10^{x} = x

⊕Now, lets do some examples to clearfy it.

⊕ find the value of:

1. log 4.00

solution:

step 1. see the first two place 4.00

step 2 . Now see the value of 40→0 [using logaritm table]

step3 . put the decimal in front of it.

thus. if you follow all 3 steps you will get the value of log4.00 = 0.6021

2. Find the value of log 5.864

solution: then aplliying above method.

you need to find, 58→6 = 7679 [using logarithm table]

step 4.Now you also need to find the mean diffrence of last digit. which is 4

so, see in logaritm table the mean diffrence of 58→4 which is 3

step 5. add 3 to 7679 = 7682

step 6. give point in front of it = 0.7682

------------------------------

Now come on Antilogarithm.

so lets take example

1. find Antilogarith of 5.6994

step 1. seprate the both part

means, after deciamal part and before decimal part.

so, here we get, 5 & 6994

Now, we need to take 6994

step 2. find the value og 69→9{using logarithm table]

you will get, 5000

step 3. find the mean diffrence of 69→ 4

you will get 5

step 4. now add it,5 + 5000 = 5005

step 5. place decimal after one digit .

thus final value = 5.005 ×10^{5}

----------------------------------

HOPE IT CLEARIFY YOUR DOUBTS
