shall and will are both used for the future tense.

shall is used with 'I' and 'we' i.e first person singular and plural.

for example: we shall overcome the difficulties.
I shall go to the market
we shall play basketball

for rest of all nouns and pronouns will is used.

for example,
Ram will cook food for us.
they will accompany us to the airport

these rules are applicable only in grammar nowadays. for speaking purpose no one uses shall as it is considered outdated.
