Answer:

you just have to equal every element on the reactant side and product side..

for example:-

C6H12O6 + O2 -----> CO2 + H2O + Energy

first of all consider C..

there are 6 carbon in reactant while 1 in product so we'll multiply co2 with 6.

-- C6H12O6 + O2 -----> 6CO2 + H2O + Energy

now we'll see H

there are 12 hydrogen in reactant while 2 in product. so we'll multiply 6 with H2O...

--- C6H12O6 + O2 -----> 6CO2 + 6H2O

at last we'll balance O

there are 8 oxygen in reactant while 18 in product.

since O in C6H12O6 is fixed we can't change it.

so we'll multiply 6 with O so oxygen will be equal.

--- C6H12O6 + 6O2 -----> 6CO2 + 6 H2O

Hope it helps
