how to we solve the mid-point theorem ? please answer it as fast as possible

X is mid pt. of AB and Y is mid pt. of AC and XY || BC (by similarity) ....
Hence, XY =AB/2
Perimeter = AB/2 + AC/2 + BC/2 + BC {Since (perimeter = XB + YC + XY + BC )}
