Here are a few methods-

Surprise attack

A formal wish- making a pop up cake card

You can edit his/her picture on computer in a funny way and gift him

Buy a coffee mug/ key chain in which his/her picture or name is there.

Give him food items if he is foodie

If he/she is a mobile geek send pictures of cakes on whatsapp, insta etc.
