To take part in the 10K, 5K and 1,5K Road Races of the 3rd Olympic Day Run, a runner shall comply to the following:
– 10K, the runner shall be over 18 years old.
– 5K, the runner shall be over 12 years old.
– 1,5K, the runner shall be over 12 years old. For the participation of underage runners, it is mandatory to have a formal declaration of consent from the parent or legal guardian.
In terms of group participation regarding schools, associations, sport clubs etc. wishing to take part in the 1,5K Road Race, the registered as Group Responsible (Teacher, Trainer etc.) shall submit an official school/association/club document naming all student-participants accompanied by formal declarations of consent from the participants’ parents or legal guardians.
In the case of underage runners, the registered Family Responsible has the parental responsibility of the minor/s. By giving his/her consent, the Family Responsible agrees with the minors’ participation in the race and declares his/her parental responsibility in the consent document.
In the case of group registration, the registered Group Responsible is the one having full responsibility of the minors on all issues including their safety. For the delivery of race equipment, the registered Group Responsible shall deliver for all minors the formal declarations of consent of their parents or legal guardians, as well as his/her authorization to act as Group Responsible.
