My dear Rakesh

How are you? Hope you are doing well. Yesterday I went for a picnic with my classmates. We went to the Grand Park which is known for its natural beauty. We assembled in the school at 10 am. Then all of us went to the park in our school bus.

I was astounded to see multiple rows of beautiful flowers and the lush green grass there. A lovely breeze was blowing. The weather was very pleasant. All of us were very excited. We got down from our bus and went to play on the swings.

Suddenly we noticed something moving in the distance. It was a small train. We all ran towards it. The train stopped and we all got into it and went for a joy ride. It took us all around the park. We were all very thrilled.

After that we went to a corner in the park where there were a number of canopies under which vendors were selling balloons, toys and foodstuffs. We bought our favourite gol-guppas, chaat, and cold drinks.

Then we all sat down and played a number of games. By then it was evening and it was time to get back. So we got into the bus and came back to school. Our parents were waiting for us. We rushed to tell them all about the picnic.

It was one of the best picnics I have had. Have you been to a picnic in the recent times. Do write to me all about it. Convey my regards to your parents.

                                                                          With lots of love,

                                                                                                        Your friend

                                                                                                           Manish
