How to write a short story on a train journey

This is the story when I was travelling from Lucknow to Jalandhar three years back. I was sitting on the side lower seat and the train was standing on Lucknow station. Then one middle aged guy (in his mid 30s came) and asked me to help him with some money, (from his clothes and look you could guess that he is not that poor to beg )and later he added he was pick pocketed on the way to the station, now he had no money to even get the tickets for going back home, initially I suspected but then I saw his family along with him. There were two girl kids and his wife. This was the time when my mind started to think positively with a thought something like this- begging in front of your children is the last thing you would do- when you are left with no other choices and you have to keep aside your self respect and do such thing.
So now I was convinced with his story and asked about  his destination to which he answered Bhopal and next station i came out as i arrived Jalandhar.

So this was my real life story.
