Acknowledgments means to praise someone who helped you in creating a project or something.
While writing acknowledgement, remember all persons who helped you. They may be your teachers, your friends. If you have taken help from a book, mention the name of author or if you have taken help from Internet, mention the name of website.

An acknowledgment is just a fancy term for thanking the people who helped you out. If you are writing a report or formal essay or any other type of scholastic paper, you would want to include teachers who helped, any person who did anything for you or gave you information, and any organization or company who assisted you in any way. You just write down the name of the person or organization and what they did to help, such as "I would like to thank WikiAnswers for providing information on how to write an acknowledgment." I would like to express my greatest gratitude to the people whohave helped & supported me throughout my project. I am gratefulto my teacher for her continuous support for the project, frominitial advice & contacts in the early stages of conceptualinception & through ongoing advice & encouragement to thisday. A special thank of mine goes to my colleague who helped me incompleting the project & she exchanged her interesting ideas,thoughts & made this project easy and accurate. I wish to thank my parents for their undivided support and interestwho inspired me and encouraged me to go my own way, without whom Iwould be unable to complete my project.
