Whenever you write acknowledgement you need to first thank your teacher, then parents, then others who helped. An example is given.

I would like to express my gratitude to my (subject) teacher (name) for giving a topic on (topic) where I learnt a lot of things. I would also like to thank my parents whose continuous support helped me.
