Was the teacher angry? Don't you think it is ironic that you are writing an email to apologize for sending emails repeatedly?
I would suggest that you apologize to your teacher personally and explain why you did that. If email not possible then call the teacher.
If the teacher was not angry, then there is no fuss. Just don't repeat the same mistake.
