› Start with "I want to say that", or "I would like to tell you that". Prevent using "I beg to say that" or whatever as it appears so pathetic. Body must contain the detailed information of the subject above with a reason.

I am Naila Malik, Teacher of 10th Class for Biology and Chemistry in OBTC School. I am writing for leave of one day as I have to go with my parents to hospital for their checkup. I request you to please approve my leave for tomorrow and also arrange a teacher during my absence. I will be thankful to you.
