The dental formula of the mammals having milk teeth is: 212/212 × 2 = 20
While of permanent teeth it is: 2123/2123 × 2 = 32
To calculate any formula just count the number of tooths such as premolars, molars, incisor and canines of the respective animals multiplied by 2.
