Dear Diary
Today is dhanteras or Dhana Trayodashi the first day of the Indian Diwali and Nepalese Tihar Festival. The festival is known as "Dhanatrayodashi" or "Dhanvantari Trayodashi" This auspicious day is celebrated two days before the festival of lights, Diwali.
I worshipped Goddess Lakshmi - the Goddess of wealth, and Lord Kuber - the celestial treasurer of wealth. They confer happiness and prosperity on us. I also bought a gold ring as people buy any precious metal on this day to venerate the occasion of Dhanteras.
