Essays and poems are just your views. Poems have rhyming words and are a beautiful way to convey your feelings to someone, while essays can be a great means to make your point about something and explain it. When you're writing an essay or a poem, keep this in mind.

Tips for a better poem:
Poems are quite easy. Improvisation is a parlor trick, they say, and it sure is. Poems sound better with rhyming words at the end of sentences. A stanza of pairs of sentences which have rhyming words in their end is regarded as a poem.

For example, let's take a word and make a short poem out of it.
This is a cliche style:
Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
I lie on my bed as I think of you

Short, simple, cute, right? (PS: Made in 30 seconds)

•When you're writing a poem, think of a theme. Stick to your theme as you write, and add twists and turns to it.

•Your sentences should be short. The words don't have to rhyme, but it sounds more like a poem if they do.

•Add unusual words in between. They excite the reader and make them curious.

Tips for better essays:
•When you write an essay, it will look more professional and exciting if you add facts and quotes.

•If you are concentrating on one theme, then make sure to cite small or similar things. When you give references, it becomes more factual and educating.

•Add quotes, phrases, idioms to enhance your essay.
