#TIPS FOR WRITING NOTICE

* Stick to the specified word limit.
* You need to write the word NOTICE at the top.
* Do not forget to mention the Name and Place of the school, or organization or office that is issuing the notice.
* An appropriate heading is required.
* Include the date of issuing the notice.
* State the target group clearly (for whom the notice is to be displayed).
* Write the purpose of the notice.
* Mention other relevant details like date, venue and time.
* State that needs to be contacted for extra information.
* The signature, name and designation of the person who is issuing the notice should be there.

for a good notice there should be a creative heading as well.


1.Start with your school name at the top.

2. Use capital letter only.Then write NOTICE in the next line. You can also leave a line. it is your choice.

3.Write the date at the right side then the venue. Underneath, write the heading. No need to capitalize this heading.

4.Write the body of the notice informing the readers about the time and who all can participate or any other important information you want to give the readers about


5.Write your name and designation on the left side.Put the Notice in a square. But according to the new format by the icse board these is not required.


For Example, You are supposed to write a notice about A dance competition :

All Dancers Be Ready!
Inter-house dance competition
Date - Tuesday 28th, August
Venue- Multipurpose Hall, Abc School, Mumbai
