Before you start writing your report ,should take time to plan and prepare. It's important to clearly define who your audience will be. Keeping the report in mind ,its need to be written with them .You must tailor your writing to meet your audience's unique needs and expectations.
HERE ARE THREE GUIDELINES TO FOLLOW :
1) always write in past tense, in third person narrative.
2) your summary needs to make sence. Think of it as a standalone document. Researches will tapicaly read over an abstract before determining if it makes sense to read the report more throughly.
3) your summary is not an introduction to your report. It is more than that. It needs to mention your findings and the outcome. It always your teacher to see what you are attempting to do and what you might have accomplised.
