DAV Model School, IIT Kharagpur conducted a seminar for class 9 students on the topic " How to face the examinations with confidence. Experts from the field of education and child psychology interacted with students besides giving informatory lectures. They advised the students not to take examinations as a notion of horror. They should not panic and should have confidence that they will do their best according to their preparation. Confidence comes from knowledge and knowledge comes from preparation. Therefore, continuous and sustained work throughout the year is a must to face examinations with confidence.

Format of Report writing 


✔️ 1. A report should not be very big ,( about 20 lines).

✔️ 2. Avoid unnecessary words , phrases or quotations.

✔️ 3. Very often, the passive voice is used.

✔️ 4. The day of the incident / occasion , the time ( if needed ) and the place should be mentioned while report writing.

✔️ 5. Names or important officials should be mentioned.

✔️ 6. Description should not include personal information or opinion or any comments.

✔️ 7. Only important and essential facts should be included.

✔️ 8. The last but most importantly write the appropriate title for the report.

✔️9. Remember that report writing is not like essay writing.
It is more compact and assertive.
