Transportation in plants occurs almost the same way as in humans in the sense that all the materials that are transported are sent from one place to another via closed vessels just as in humans we have veins and arteries. In plants however.xylem (for water and minerals)and phloem (for food)is pesent, which comprises the transporattion system.
