The lowest layer of the atmosphere is called the troposphere. All the weather changes take place in the troposphere. The troposphere is the densest layer which contains three-fourth of the mass of the atmosphere. 99% of water vapor and solid particles of the atmosphere are present in the troposphere. The tropopause is the boundary between the troposphere and the upper layer known as the stratosphere.
