thus here the question is to obtain the equilibrium at the equatorial part so there is a perpendicular bisected between the line joining of the charges till point p...
so then the two right angles are formed ....thus the Sep from mid point is 5cm and the perpendicular distance is 12cm thus the distance from the charge and the point p is obtained to be 13cm....
