Structural formula of oxalic acid = COOH-COOC.2H2O
 
Molecular mass of oxalic acid = 126

For preparing 1000ml of 1 M oxalic acid, wt of oxalic acid required = 126 g

For preparing 250 ml of 0.1 M solution

oxalic acid required = (126 / 1000) * 250 * 0.1 = 3.150 g
