rutheford's alpha scattering experiment says nucleus is present in a very small part of an atom and in nucleus both proton and neutron is present neutron and proton has nearly similar atomic mass it also states that 1/20000th of alpha particle deflected completed which proves that nucleus is present in a very small part of an atom because most of the alpha particles went without any deviation which proves that most of the places of an atom is vacant.
