goood question.
when you start to do an art dont ever do it when you are in bad mood
because it might effect the drawing too
use lighter pencil when you begin the paint when you are satisfied then make it darker
use good painting techniques ( you can see google or youtbe for the technique )
and also good paper ( which could last long )
