well u could say that the main reason would be the 'goal' the motivation or to reach that one thing in our life we want to achieve, that kind of thing is lacking not only in India but in many people in different places tho I'm not the one to judge cause I'm below 18 myself but I am telling from my experience from what I saw , people only look at those who succeed no to those who are behind, people look and talk about their success but they never think about how much that person have struggled to reach that one achievement, people are binded by the society's law from the time when they are born.
many people are still unemployed cause they are still searching for what they want to become or what they are better suited for
