How unity and democracy is important for the all round development of any country?

If each and every person of the country won't get equal rights, they wouldn't be able to perform their duties and this will stop the development of country. Human rights is the thing which makes us all equal, but if there would be inequality, it will stop us from building unity among each other. Without democracy, anyone can rule over the country in the Dictatorship form of government, and it could be as much harmful as it is to North Korea.
